To rest and read two people meet in the shade of a beech tree. In a lush setting, surrounded by distant voices and chirping birds, a stream of thoughts unfolds.
Gulbenkian Garden is a visual and poetic recount of a shared moment in a park using a transcript of a conversation to a suite of 37 images. One person reflects on the book ‘On Photography’ by Susan Sontag. The other person simultaneously engages in the dialogue and photographs the rhythm of the light in the tree above.
